Hacking The 3 bannerbomb's freeze on 4.2

Hi all,

I've tried to do my wii and the 3 files of bannerbomb are freezing

I've 4.2U, and wants to install the homebrew channel

ANy help is much appreciated

I go to:
Wii buuton
Data Management
Channels
SD Card
then I insert the SD Card....then freeze (using the 3 files: abd6a_v200.zip, abd69_v200.zip, abd6b_v200.zip)

the bannerbomb for 4.2 you need to select the little sd card on the wii menu not data management

I bet you didn't rename your private folder before copying bannerbomb to sd card and you have left some backed up saves and/or channels.

it is my mistake, I should click on the sd card icon in the main menu, not through the data mgmt

no worries, you just made it seem like you tried all three versions of bannerbomb 4.2 correctly and none worked, which would have been interesting

That's what I was thinking but someone had the same problem earlier and they didn't read the bannerbomb website for instructions and or the guide they were using wasn't clear and they were using the old method to load it through data management

I have softmodded. Hackmii, HBC, Bootmii > Boot2, etc. Everything seems to run great. Except...I also experience freezing when going to Data Mgmt > Channels > SD Card.

I've tried removing everything from the card. Doesn't help.

What'ya suspect this is all about?

**If I remove SD and go to Data Mgmt > Channels > SD Card it says no SD / Insert Card

When I do, that's when it freezes. Is there some additional formatting or hidden file reqd for Card to be recognized through Data Management Menu. The card is definitely readable by Wii all other ways.

It's not an HD SD card, just SD

nope it has to be the atkn folder in the wii/private/title location
