Are there any homebrew text readers that support searching? I want to use my DS for a German - > English and vice versa dictionary, but I can't seem to find a program with a search function.

You can use Vi in DSLinux to search, though larger files like dictionary files would probably take up too much RAM.
The other solution is TranslaterDS, though this requires a slot-2 device with GBA compatibility to run.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
