Hey, running 6.20 PRO permanent, I play a lot of PSX games and like to cheat. I always used cwcheat until recently, but i didn't love the interface, so I installed TempAR. Now when I open TempAR it recognises games and gives me a list of cheats, but when I choose some cheats and turn them on, nothing happens.

In a couple of cases cwcheat works where TempAR does not (Final Doom, Powerslave), even though they are using the same database. Am I missing something obvious?

Did you hit the Note button when in TempAR to turn cheat application on globally?

TempAR and CWCheat likely use different methods to determine the game being played, I don't know the details.
