Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season Two Coming Autumn 2013

Telltale Games' rendition of the popular comic book/TV series The Walking Dead made some huge ripples across the industry when it snubbed many of 2012's biggest releases of their Game of the Year awards. To the praise of much fans, Telltale already illustrated plans for season two. However, fans may not be pleased to hear that it's coming in autumn... in 2014.

Telltale Games CEO and co-founder Dan Connors did however highlight that the recently revealed Playstation 4's online features will present a "huge opportunity" for the game. The first season kept record of the choices players made and let you see what the entire community made, percentage wise, at the end of each chapter.

The game's writer, Gary Whitta, revealed that there'd be "more Walking Dead" from them before season two. This was confirmed by Connors, saying they'll "announce [it] very soon" and that "It'll be different."

I say that's a good thing. Gives it the chance to become epic without feeling rushed, and clean up some of the bugs.

I downloaded every episode on my PS3, was more than happy to pay 9.99 for it. Totally worth it.

It'll obviously be better than that crap Activision game.

I played episode 1 from start to finish on its release day and then decided I would wait on the rest until all were available to play any more. Bought them all on their respective release days but still have yet to play them. I need to play a whole episode in one sitting and can't seem to carve out the time...

...Because they said it's PS4 exclusive? It'll probably come to Nextbox and PC.

wtf are you talking about? I see nothing to the effect of it being a PS4 exclusive...or that it'll even be available on PS4... The source article merely states that the PS4 presents some new opportunities. No one is being "alienated". Chill the eff out.

For the dick-heads that can't be patient enough to wait another year it's GOOD FUCKING NEWS that it's coming out in 2014. Too many games have had the trend of getting sequels yearly and for some reason this just implants something in people's minds and makes them think that a game series isn't good enough if it isn't shiting out a game every god damn year. Having ANOTHER WHOLE YEAR on this sequel just means that everything will be improved and we won't be getting a rushed product.
