It just came out today in Australia.
I bought it and I don't regret my purchase. Sure it doesn't have a story mode, but I've already played through the story mode of Tekken 6 on 360 so I don't miss it.
As long as it has ranked battles against AI and human opponents I'm happy.
Now I just need some more Australians to get it so I can have some matches that don't lag insanely.

JB Hi-Fi for $59, which was $10 cheaper than all the other shops.

Get it if you like Tekken. I had a friend that doesn't like Tekken, and I don't recommend this game to him. Still, I'm not regretting my purchase, as I'm a fan of Tekken.

Is anyone having the same problem as me? I'm now on the 20-match special survival, on the 20th match I can take off some damage but very little, last time I got to the 20th match i got my opponent against the wall on the floor just pounding attack after attack for the last 30 seconds, even then my attacks weren't doing any damage! Does anyone else have this problem? am i doing something wrong?

I was really interested in getting this, but not now after reading about how crappy it is. Might pick it up when I can get it for 20$ or under.

For me it's much better value than SF4 or DoA would have been.
Sure it's somewhat lacking in modes, but at the core it's still Tekken. I enjoy the way Tekken plays. Street Fighter and Dead or Alive just don't interest me. No matter how many different modes they might have, it's the gameplay that decides it for me.
