Not if i am emulating things they would never offer in the first place or better emulated. ;)
In either case the reasoning you are quoting is flawed.
If some producer sells potatoes, it doesn't make it illegal to grow your own.
If someone starts selling oxygen, it doesn't become illegal for you to breath oxygen in the air for free.
If someone offers a gardening service, it doesn't make it illegal to attend to your garden on your own.
Etc.

If you run software not in a retail format then it is piracy (assuming it wasn't offered free for anyone to use in any way they like by the copyright holders in the first place).

Not that I have anything against it, just pointing it out.

I’m shocked (well, not really) that anybody is advocating for people's Switch’s to be bricked. I won’t be buying TX, but it’s nobody’s ‘fault’ if somebody does.

yep they are back. maybe their jig fell out the backend.
I have been having that problem, jigs find their way into weird places, my printer was playing up, tipped it over and shook it and a jig fell out

except its been said many times already when it was posted it had an add to cart button and now it says out of stock.
Congrats, you noticed the 21973410947189256298th web programmer that made a slight mistake when setting up the placeholder page.

You must have started console hacking in the late 3ds days.
I'll tell you bluntly. The 3ds was the holy grail of hackable consoles.
Most other systems don't even get exploits that persist across updates, let alone giving full system access at boot.
The 3ds was one of the few that had persistent coldboot exploits.
With current known exploits we simply can't just turn on the system and have it work.
Maybe you should just be glad it's hacked at all, and stop being so entitled.
If you want it to be persistent to do it yourself, seemshow you seem to think it's so easy to get going.

No, my young apprentice - I am your father...
The reason why I want this is that I am used to better hacks, meember the PSP or are you too young? Ever heard of the Wii? I am not ditching the current hacks or even stating I am the king of the Universe, but it is not something many people will use, I think, if they have to go out of their way just to boot the damn hack. It needs to be relatively hassle-free, to reach a wider audience, which is what we want = more homebrew. If it takes a modchip, so be it, but please let it not be an external dongle.

"Hey honey - should we play some homebrew on the Switch?"

"Sure, let's wait for the next full moon, hook it up it up with the jig and the dongle. I'll be sure to stand one leg singing "Britannia rules the waves" in a dimly lit environment while booting the exploit"

oh boy
please get some brain

its gonna be available for pre order soon
technically its not in stock yet
Its out of stock. There was an add-to-cart option to buy right when it started selling today. 10 minutes later, it was gone. So yeah, its out of stock.
