How does where I live make a difference to whether nintendo would make it to sell in another country?

Hahahahaha. The same @_hexkyz_ who has been embarrassed multiple times in this thread by @Costello ? The same person who claims there is no exploit and couldn’t possibly be one? The same person that was going to provide free SXOS and xci loading but failed miserably? Lmao. You crack me up.

Actually, he did crack SX OS. He didn't release the crack, but he did release scripts to crack it yourself.

well why has no one done it then, I've not seen a cracked version anywhere, even on the dark sites, the only one I've seen was with a older version of sx with some cheap rip off of tx sx.

I just said he did. The scripts are public. A cracked version wouldn't be out in the wild for no reason, use the scripts yourself.

i mean if he has managed to decrypt it, then why has no one cracked it and put a copy out on the net ?. like i said I've not seen a cracked version anywhere. I would have thought there would be a demand for it, especially from those that hate TX and don't like to pay for anything..

You're confusing the love of open source with not liking to pay for anything, wich is mostly in general the SX user who use SXOS for piracy while that lacks a lot of homebrew features the open sourced version does have. Users that do use atmosphere use it mostly for the extra features that isn't related to piracy and SXOS lacks

Show me where he promised anything other than breaking their obfuscation/encryption (which he did and still provides a script for).

At this point I'm fairly certain a lot of people in this thread are trolling, but I'll take the bait one last time since I've been mentioned again.

Never have I stated that TX has nothing and if people would bother reading my previous posts (the whole thing) this would've been clear. Instead, people are just eager to engage in "CFW wars" and choose to focus on the parts that are of interest to them.
My post explicitly states that this specific rumor from this specific reseller is false (now in bold since it was ignored in italic).
I also go on explaining exactly how TX could've developed a solution and how this rumor would either rush them to show something or to admit they have nothing to show, but of course, people managed to interpret this as "he's saying the whole thing is fake and they have nothing". That post is still there, unedited and I think it's quite clear. In fact, here it is again: https://gbatemp.net/threads/team-xe...est-switch-models.551125/page-17#post-8842348

Regarding the HDEV situation, if TX has a solution that compromises the early boot chain, they can easily disprove this by showcasing a full boot up on a Switch. What I've mentioned isn't powerful enough to compromise the system that much. So no, they are not damned if they do and damned if they don't.

As for the people stating I'm someone who thinks "the world spins around him" and that I'm not omniscient, I have to ask: come on, seriously?
Of course I can't know everything, that's beyond obvious, but neither can TX. You are under the impression TX is this impenetrable fortress of top elite hackers, but that's simply not true. They have rats infiltrated on every single one of their circles, just like the open source community has. We're not dumb, neither is TX, both "sides" are aware of the rats. Things are rarely what they look like.

Now, here's a bit of a rant on what my beef with TX is exactly. Feel free to ignore everything as usual.

I don't care they are taking code from others. Yes I know licensing is an issue here, but I also have to be real: an illegal piracy company, operating in countries that don't give a damn about open source is not going to care.
I cracked SX because of the DRM in it, it's a puzzle just like DRM in the actual Switch or any other device, that's all.
I was actually surprised to find that much code taken from other projects so I called them out on it.
I didn't even want them to mention what projects they were taking code from or even credit specific people. I was, however, expecting an apology and a simple confirmation that they do use code from other projects. Instead they kept insisting on this narrative where we are all just salty "aspiring hackers" and they are these geniuses that did everything.

I'm not convinced this is the same TX that developed solutions for the Xbox. To me, that team is long gone despite whatever TX mods and/or affiliates keep stating.
I'm sure I mentioned this a long time ago, but over a decade ago, I actually had contact with people that worked for TX. I didn't approve of what they did back then and my stance on piracy still stands to this day, but I tried to keep an unbiased mind while chatting with some developers. Surprisingly, they were actually nice people that loved puzzles just the same, but instead took a different path then mine. Some of them were financially motivated as things were very different back then.
Nonetheless, one thing was certain: they were proud of every little piece of software or hardware they created. Taking code from others was just unacceptable by their own moral code. The Team-Xecuter of the past was innovative and actually gave cool stuff to the community.
While I couldn't condone their actions, I could understand they had a strong sense of honor. I suggest everyone to actually look into their past instead of insisting on the "they have 15 years of experience, they were doing this before all these hackers" thing, because it's not true. Many of us have actually been around just as long or even longer.

So, yes, I believe the TX of the present is majorly composed of ex-Gateway members. All the Gateway exclusive code found in SX OS just further corroborates this. Obviously, I'm sure some veterans are still around but I don't believe they are invested in programming for the Switch at all.

Before everyone jumps on you, I'm going to interject and explain.
If you check this (now closed) thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/hexkyz-will-release-a-cracked-sx-os-eventually.508949/

You can see I replied to someone on twitter stating that I couldn't see why a cracked SX OS shouldn't be kept private. It's not exactly the same as promising a release but I understand why people would take it that way.
After the massively negative response in that thread I think it became quite obvious that a cracked version should never be released, so I kept publishing the tools to do it instead.
I should also note that others have been able to use the tools to repack a DRM free version of SX OS, but in the end everyone just simply lost interest (supporting a cracked version would require constantly updating everything on each release).

This should be obvious, but don't give any money to anyone offering "pre-orders", at least until evidence has been shown that anything exists.

good to hear from you :), I think your right most SX users want it for piracy and I think most Atmos users use it for piracy to.

what are the extra features that most Atmos users use that isn't related to piracy ?
