It's not happening today. I'll have it up by tommorow evening.

hows it going?

Not great. I'm really busy, and so I'm positive the last sound pack will be released in the next few days. My family is staying longer than I planned

so I still lack in time. I'll make sure to revive this thread when I have something.

People who are getting a bad partition should use partitionbuilder 1.1 to build the partition, NOT the one that comes with Wii Scrubber 1.4 (partitionbuilder 1.0)

You know, you're right, I forgot to mention that.

So let's say I only wanted to replace one song in the NTSC-U ISO (in my case, the US Training Stage music with the Japanese Training Stage music). Which files would I have to replace on the US ISO besides the song itself?

Custom Soundtracks for UAS.

MGF from SRK posted up a tutorial on how to create your own custom soundtracks.

Cheers.

And with that, I say goodbye

I'm working on the Captain Rainbow project now, so look forward to it.

Hey, we need to finish the Tatsunoko v/s Capcom project!
Now we have more powerful tools to put correct music, WE MUST put the original files that we wanted in first place and without fuzziness!

I will read the tutorial to try to do myself, but, we need to put here the "official" music that we create to work fine (with the good loop, etc..).

I don't see why we have to. If people can put in custom music then our method is useless because they can just do it themselves anyway. If you want to do it go ahead, but I won't. I hope those who used my soundpack enjoyed it.

How why? Is obvious! When you start a work, YOU MUST FINISH IT!
That's is the reason. And well, if we have the work finished, we can offer a patch to the people who have the game original.

At least i will try to do it.

Finally.. I created the perfect compilation with some tools here.
No fuzziness and all songs are with perfect quality.

The song list modified, is the same as the first wished one:

Wasteland ----> Casshan's Theme
Yatterman's Workshop ---> Yatterman-1's Theme
Washinkyo, Amehon ----> Viewtiful Joe's Theme
Galactor Base ---> Ken the Eagle's Theme (Gatchaman I)
Burning Wasteland ---> Gold Lightan's Theme
Les Vagas ---> Karas's Theme
Daigo Temple (Cherry Blossoms) ---> Kajin no Soki's Theme
Gesellshaft (Clear Skies) ---> Megaman Volnutt's Theme
Aensland Castle ---> Morrigan's Theme
Uncharted Region of China ---> Chun-Li's Theme
Daigo Temple (moonlight) ---> Ryu's Theme
Gesellshaft (storm) ---> PTX-40A's Theme
Orbial Ring Systems Cargo Bay --> Tekkaman's Theme
Willamette Parkview Mall ---> Unchanged
Training Stage ---> NTSC character select screen
Roll's Theme ---> Roll's Theme (Jap)
Main theme (Before pressing start at title screen) ---> Main theme (Jap)

You still need to do the whole partition tutorial, but with the files that i provide: HERE.
Note: All the files in the .rar need to be replaced in the partition, in order to work.

Good job TyRaNtM

I'm glad you picked up the project for me. I think more people probably want me to do Captain Rainbow. Have you tested the sound pack yet?

How to replace music (Pre-determinded pack)
Things needed:

Wii scrubber
Partion builder
Watch this video. The file is in the description.
The NTSC iso (Not the disc) of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars
step1q.png

First, right click on the partition in wii scrubber after loading the Iso. Selected unencrypted and then extract.

step2l.jpg

Make sure that they're in a folder with nothing in it. It will look like this.

step3ur.png

Click on snd and you will see this.

step4h.png

Then after clicking on stream you will see this.

Replace this folder with the one in the RAR you downloaded.

step5.png

Extract the files (By right clicking on them and selecting extract) in the pic below:
step6c.png

Optional; Replace the intro movie.

Do you want the Japanese opening to play everytime you boot up the game and make your iso smaller? Then read this. If not skip down to the next step where the italics end.

Warning! This removes the American intro from your game. Backup the movie folder to be safe, or better yet have a backup clean iso.

1. Go into the folder thp and select "us".
2. Inside that folder, copy the file named "1001" to an external folder seperate from the iso files.
3. Rename and replace it with every file in the folder. For example, rename it "0501" and then replace it with that file in the folder. After you've finished they should all be the exact same size (135,127 kb).
4. Continue to the next step

step7w.png

In partition builder, put the files in the appropriate slot. Wait for it to finish, the open the iso in wii scrubber and right click on the partition. Go to unencrypted, but this time select "load". Choose the partiton YOU DID NOT RENAME and it will load into the iso. Play it on your medium of choice then viola! You're done!

OMG! How did you get Wii Scrubber to work on the TvC ISO? It NEVER would work on my ISOs of TvC (though it did work on SSB:Brawl so I know my copy of Wii Scrubber isn't bad) and I downloaded several different ISOs of TvC from different torrents. Please tell me where you got an editable ISO of TvC. Thanks in advance.

Ok, this may be slightly off topic, but definitely has to do with TvC music. Once I have the music files extracted to my computer, how do I play them? I'd like to know of a program that can play the Tatsunoko Vs Capcom music files.

Damn bumping a few months old topic.

I'm curious, what are the file types of the songs ripped form the ISO?

The song audio files have a file extension *.ssd (and one *.srt file is in the folder which may be like some kind of index file), and the sound effects come in pairs of files (each effect has one *.tsb file and one *.whd file).
