If you absolutely insist on playing it. Then play on a emulator. Play a romhack of R/S/E. You do not go for the DS if u want a remake of a pokemon DS game. Or better! You are not ever in your life going to see a remake soon in any of next 3 years. 3 Years YES. At worst case it may never come.
