No it won't. Despite it being a better series than Final Fantasy there are too many FFFanboys who don't pay attention to anything else and couldn't name an RPG that doesn't have Final Fantasy in the title.

true, for most people, they only know CT and final fantasy, what is star ocean? i have no idea, what is tales? idk and idc.

Anyway, you know what the strange thing was, i have never heard of any tales game, until i was bored and i was looking for some games to play, and i saw tales of phantesia on the gba. That was my first tales of game and it was the one who got me hooked onto this series

well not every tales game is better than ff it's just opinion anyway, but yeah there are too many ff fan out there that only play ff games
and yeah it's better to name kohak "Kohak" it add to the fantasy setting anyway

I agree with you decision to translate their names to their localized form. Seems more professional. I mean if Namco-bandai was they would do the same so yeah ...

Thanks, I just can't stand the CG version art, it look horrible compared to the anime

(I can't stand what they did with the american version of Star Ocean the Last Hope)

Can someone explain how does the weapon(or is it Soma ?) upgrading goes ?
I have a Choice between Red/Green/Blue does this mean I choose a "route" for my weapon to develop (I see that each choice has a different skill set) ?
And in battle what are the white numbers that are shown over the damage ?

Dont remember exactly now, since I dont have the game in front of me, but depending on the path, you will focus on offense or defense type skills. Not sure what the white numbers are indicating though.
