Just got a clone wiimote from dealextreme which, given the price, is an absolutely awesome clone. My only issue is there is static in the speaker so I want to take it apart and put something over the speaker to muffle it a bit to remove the (what should be) unheard static as you can still hear it when the volum is off in wiimote options.

Anyone know of a good guide? or shall I just crack 'er open?

Just a warning, when opening it, it gets very hard to crack apart near the top. So take your time and go slow.

Although since it's a clone, I don't know the build quality. On my real Wiimote, it was very hard to crack off. Even when wedging a flathead screw driver underneath.
