Hacking System update in CFW giving error message and won't let me launch EmuMMC : pkg1 / HOS error

Hi all,

This morning I updated Hekate and Atmosphere and installed Chiaki on a working CFW system and managed to make Chiaki work however, when connected to the Internet I got a message to update and I mistakenly accepted it. Now I'm getting the screen below. I've tried to move all Hekate and Atmosphere files back into the SD to see if it would solve the issue, but no success.

Any idea what I could do to resolve the issue without losing my games and save files?

I don't want to format and start from scratch as I want to maintain my games' save files (that is my last option because 60hrs of Skyrim...).

Hmmm I see. Do I have to wait until a CFW comes out for it? Or can I do a fresh Hekate and Atmosphere install?
I don't know if this changes anything but the update was done from Atmosphere, meaning, inside EmuMMC

Like a fresh reinstall (as I updated to the latest available this morning)? Or wait for a compatible CFW?
Formating the SD and starting from scratch?
If formating, any way I can salvage my game save files from PC or Hekate (I can still access hekate, but not atmosphere).

Hi Guys,

Can you help me again? So I've downloaded CFW 6.0.7 and pre-release of Atmosphere. I still can't play my games!

I'm getting the attached message when booting to Atmosphere Emummc from Hekate (have to press power when prompted).

I'm also attaching the messages I received when trying to play my games.

Any ideas?

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
