Hacking System turns off when in bootmii and i press power button

When i boot in to bootmii (boot2) i wanna change channels but it will not let me cuz when i press the power button to go right it turns off the system

Hello.

I am sure you have pressed the POWER Button briefly.
(I can press up to 2 Seconds on my Wii).
Turn the LED on the Wii to YELLOW or RED when that happens ?
It is possible for you to use an Gamecube Controller instead ?

I don’t exactly know what u mean with the color of the led but when its turned off the led is red and when it turns on in too bootmii its green

and no i do not have a gamecube controller

He was politely asking for confirmation that you aren't holding down the power button to trigger a hard shut down. I'm not so subtle, lol. It's unlikely, so I doubt that's the issue.

I would try using a different SD card, and/or a different version of bootmii saved to your sd card, and/or removing the bootmii config file from the SD card. I don't know of any custom settings that could cause that kind of behaviour but just to be safe I'd delete the cfg file all together to make sure you're running default settings.

If none of this solves your issue you may have some kind of hardware problem which is out of my area of expertise and probably not worth the investment to repair anyway

I would recommend installing bootmii as an ios and then use priiloader to boot into bootmii...
