EmuNAND stands for "Emulated NAND". EmuNAND allows custom apps because they didn't work on the SysNAND ("System NAND"). EmuNAND is different from SysNAND, so it is not possible. But, they are both the same thing: NAND. So, it's possible, but it's highly unlikely to work. EmuNAND stuff can be transferred to another EmuNAND, same thing for SysNAND. But you cannot do it from EmuNAND to SysNAND, but it can be done vice versa.

You can do a System Transfer to carry your eShop purchases and NNID from your emuNAND to another 3DS' sysNAND. I've done this on a few different occasions. They will force you to update the firmware on both units, and you'll need to connect to the internet. Unsigned and homebrew CIAs won't carry over.

One of us doesn't know what they're talking about. Maybe things changed while I wasn't looking?

It's been a while, but I don't remember doing anything special. Just make sure that you're in emuNAND before you start the transfer.

Once you transfer your NNID to your new system, you won't be able to login to it on the old one, if this was your intention. That means no eShop or Miiverse.

I got an NNID on emuNAND and another one on sysNAND

I am already, but will the NNID of O3DS sysNAND be unable to be used after the transfer?
If it's a separate account from your emuNAND's, it shouldn't be.

Though, I haven't done this myself. Never had an NNID on sysNAND. For what it's worth, though, my sysNAND looked to be untouched when I transferred the emuNAND.

Thanks, I'll try Monday/later next week and I'll let you know if it did go right
