Hacking System Transfer and CFW

I did a system transfer from my 3ds w/CFW to my new Hyrule edition 2ds so my questions are

1. With my old 3ds where do I need to start in the CFW process to get it back to before the wipe

2. With my new 2ds do I just start the CFW process from the beginning?

For 1, you can also just restore a NAND backup from before the transfer and restore the SD card contents.
