Why do you use illegal methods to achieve this? Uploading IOS and cIOS files is illegal in all countries. If i don't oversee something, you can do your stuff with legal methods(when you start with 3.2 firmware), IOS30 patch version:
1. install starfall
2. install a cIOS36rev7 with an installer
3. dump the cIOS
4. extract the dip from the cIOS
5. dump IOS files from a 3.2 game disc with wufe
6. put the dip into IOS30
7. install cIOS30

the rest is replacement of the other IOS with cIOS and/or putting the backup dip into them, which should be possible with legal methods too

Please don't see this as instructions how to launch backups from the disc channel, i want to check the legality of this process, that's why i list this.

WiiPower, hence the MultiCios installer is yours, can I release it publicly??? I only modified one tinny number, or should I wait 'till some one writte a complete pros-contras-how_to post??

Oh and also the DIP7 can be installed from the SD so we only need to change the 01.app for the Waninkoko's 01.app extracted from a cIOS249...!!!

The license is GPL2, you can do whatever you wish with it, but keep the license in your mind. If you publish it(changed or not), just keep the source in your release. You can do that with every software licensed under GPL.

Ok then here you go guys, don't blame anyone if your Wii is broken no one is going to pay or is going to be responsible if anything goes wrong and ended up with a $250 usd paper weight next your TV, do not thank to anyone about this, and do not tell any of your friends about this if you don't wanna get blamed, do not do anything stupid, and read the entire thread before downloading this, TAKE ALL OF THIS AND COSIDER IT AS A WARNING, do not come or begin a topic in this site telling "...My wii bricked trying to do the "Custom Wiios" thing, if you do, the MOD's will take care of you

This seems to be working great so far. I'm using a NTSC wii on 3.2u with starfall and rev7 previously installed. After installing wiiblasters cios wads all my 1:1 NTSC backups are working flawlessly in the disc channel. No PAL copies working, I'm going to try to change the region on a few ISO's to see if they load.

If anyone else wants the CIOS wads just PM me. Just be aware that you are installing these at your own risk and they have not been heavily tested yet.

If you region change the PAL games they will work. That is if they are capable of running in NTSC mode. Some games just won't.

You can still also run the PAL games from Disc Channel if you use rebooter.

which ios should be patched to make the wii read autoboot wad manager and zelda autoboot? and can somebody send me the cios needed?

I think you need whatever IOS is being used by System Menu to be patched. Default is IOS30. Check your PMs.

so far i only region changed COD and it loaded. I'm gonna test some more tonight.

Has anyone run into any games that won't launch yet? Either using the correct region or region patched.

Good question FGOD - I was about to start installing this with the files from Wiiblaster, but what about preloader - will it have any effect as its patched the current system menu?

Or would you need to uninstall preloader first?

Also, i never kept a record if my games are pal or ntsc but as i live in england, if any of the copies are ntsc and i try to run them, could i be hit with an out of region update or not?

I have starfall but, just checking thats all guys.

I take it the procedure for the this would be the same for a pal wii as well?

everyone is starfalled here, and almost obviously cIOS249_r7 installed, preloader not sure, but I think; without recomending to do it, it should work...!!!

yep, same procedure.

With the multi-cIOS installer, does it patch ALL of the IOS's, does it ask you which ones you want to patch.
How does it work exactly?

It asks you what Source Base IOS to use and Which Dip Module to use and Which IOS to install it to.

Typical configuration might be IOS36 with IOS36 Dip 7 installed to IOS249

Search and read the threads on the installer. It's pretty straight forward once you play with it a bit. You'll want the IOS files installed in the 00000001 folder on your SD card like the directions show. I put all the IOS36 and IOS37 files on my SD and use those two only.

I got all the files(Custom CIOS-installer + CIOSes) but how do I install them???

I would advise to just install using the wads. It'd be pretty easy to make a mistake with Multi cIOS Installer.

And only do this mod if you're experienced modding and I would suggest to only do it if your using System Menu 3.2 and have starfall installed.

So, I can go ahead and install the wads from Wiiblasters pack cios 9,11,12,13,14,15,17,20,21,22,2,8,30,21,33,34,35,36, bugfix37,38,53, and 55?

and then i should be good to go?

Correct?

I am on a Pal wii, 3.2, no chip.

I believe so but I won't swear to it. Read the whole thread so that you understand exactly what is going on, and I will defer the answer to your question to WiiBlaster himself since I used Multi-cIOS-Installer to install about half of my cIOS. Also. Since your on 3.2 install Starfall before you do this mod.

???? I read tutorials but I'm STILL confused... I moved all the CIOSes WADs into /00000001 and then ran MC installer but I still don't get it. Can you please help...

I have ethers installer as well, but Wiiblaster sent me all of the wads premade. My only question would be about the IOS30 - can i just install the CIOS30 wad?

Also - I have preloader installed and for somereason It wont let me reinstall starfall - it goes to the pres b+1 screen and then hits the next screen and says something like seek fail -101 or somthing.

So, i can't get starfall back on - I think i need to install a new 3.2 sys menu wad which should overwrite preloader.
