Given that wiiware/vc games have to be copied to NAND from SD/SDHC to work, won't that cause the internal NAND to wear out much faster?

Sure your shoes get worn out if you wear them more, but theres a thread around here somewhere that says youll be fine, but not to expect your wii to live forever. but it wont wear out MUCH faster.

In another topic someone posted a calculation. Even if you play dozens of different VC games per day, the Nand would still last many many years. Under normal use it would even last decades. In theory of course, the Wii itself wouldn't make it that long probably.
