does @punderino 's system config tool mod (the one that allows it to be installed on sysNAND) need to be installed on usb or mlc or does it matter?
It's part of the official SDK, so no-one can publicly link to it here.Link to tool?

Also if you mess with the wrong settings you can brick your console. Thanks yeah I didn't think about SDK. Thought it was HB version or something
Yes but it's against site rules to link to it in a pm or to name the site you can find it on but you are allowed to hint where to find it here and via pm.I'm not saying I'm going to give it out, but PMs exist.

Why have sys config on sysNAND if you use redNAND. Kinda defeats the point of installing to sysnand.I encountered a weird issue with installing system config tool on sysNAND. it created a question mark tile on redNAND. the version on rednAND did not create a question mark tile on sysNAND. I'm assuming it's a bug. I didn't think the NANDs would be linked in this way when they shouldn't be. I was using mocha cfw and wup to install.
You have to format sysNAND after you created your redNAND to unlink them.I encountered a weird issue with installing system config tool on sysNAND. it created a question mark tile on redNAND. the version on rednAND did not create a question mark tile on sysNAND.
