Hacking sys versino 99.99.99??

I was on 5.5.1 but i just turned on my console and it's on 99.99.99 anybody know what that's about? how can i go back to 5.5.1?

you are on 5.5.1, haxchi installed a fake ticket to stop the console auto updating, hench why the number is just a bunch of 9's, it won't install anything under the system version automatically. you can still manually update if you need

Do you have CBHC or Haxchi installed? CBHC and Haxchi sets the version to 99.99.99 to prevent updates.

Seems like OP is missing some very basic understanding of how CFW works. What guide did you follow and how do you not know that CFW changes firmware to 99.99.99?

I installed haxchi a long time ago and it had never changed my sys version. it was always 5.5.1. this 99.99.99 thing is recent. I dont have cold boot haxchi.

ok guys sorry. I just realized that i had never gone into settings after loading haxchi so that's why i never noticed it being 99.99.99
I just rebooted my console and went into settings and it's still 5.5.1. so you're right kafluke.
