Hacking SXOS (NOT EMUNAND) working with 6.2?

I know emunand is borked with 6.2 but is everything else working ok?

Emunand is the only thing it broke due to key changes? XCI's, installing NSP's all that working?

Its not that I dont get it, its that I am misunderstanding what a CFW is. If I never installed emunand and never intend to use it, does this new FW update break SXOS functionality?

as a general rule I don't update till about 3 weeks after a new firmware is released.

Three weeks or not does not matter. Always wait for other people to try and cry everything is broken first, then for actual dev to tell you it is safe to update. Then you wait for some user's feedback and THEN and only then you update. This is how you can stay away from 99.9999 % of the dramas

For example, I have all my 3DS on 11.8, but before that, I waited for Luma to get updated

If you do boot into your switch on OFW be very very careful. My switch has the update downloaded and ready to install. So now I get the do you want to update notifcnotifn every time. Gotta be very careful what I press

Not that I have that, but what is the best current method of removing the update file and nag? I hear mixed reports of recovery mode working past certain FW's?
