Max number of games on External HDD With SXOS.?

Hi all, been running a few games of HDD now with no issue, so decided to fill my 2tb drive up so they are all available.

Only after scanning for a while and a lot of them appearing it crashes every time with an error code. 2168-0002

Anybody know if there is a limitation to how many it can show, or is this a nintendo thing?

i actually requested that the scan feature be eliminated on tx forums, it needs to be read from a json file which can be generated on the fly at your request, the scanning is too slow and creates the crashes, so a json file which points to whats avaiable would be amazing.

you can convert nsp to xci so there would be roughly a thousand titles using that method at this point

On my ps2 using OPL (open ps2 loader) you have an option to scan the hard drive for games every boot or disable it so it loads a pre loaded list from a previous scan. If you add or remove games that's the only time you need to rescan.

Something similar to this either on sxos or on sx installer would be great.

On a another note I have games that show on sxos album but not in List of xci on sx installer not sure why

I had the same issue and was one corrupt xci. Found and deleted by watching games it scanned and when error would show. I use sx installer to launch all my games now as faster to scan (jump straight into homebrew launcher R+A on gallery.) If I actually use sxos launcher takes an age to read.

This has happened to me also and it was a corrupt xci. I would recommend you to see how far you load xci in your hdd and then and remove all other xci that were not scanned before it crashed. You can move the games to a directory that sxos will not scan for example a new folder. Once this happens just add 1 game at a time to where sxos is scanning for games till you find the one causing issues. I have about 1tb of games so its a long process but better then starting from nothing again.

i have 697 games allot of them are not showing ,i wanted to play zelda breath of the wild its not showing but chekking the hdd its there
maybe a Cache limit of the switch ?

i have counted the games on the switch the limit is 540 < are showing on the external hdd there are 697

Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs

I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200

My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection

    how is wireless charging possible?

    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
