Hi all,

I'm releasing a Shin Megami Tensei V (SMT 5) Save editor for the switch. The ability to seamlessly edit your save without leaving your console the main point of it.

This is my first public homebrew release so feel free to give me constructive feedback.

https://github.com/rayoz12/SMT5-Save-Editor/releases/tag/v0.0.3

Features:
- Loading the save directly (no need to export or decrypt)
- Player Macca & Glory
- Difficulty
- Player Stats (HP, MP, STR, VIT, MAG, AGI, LUC)
- Player Items
- Demons
- Demon Stats
- Demon Skills

Essense and Miracles will be coming soon.

Saves will be backed up automatically to /switch/SMT5SaveBackups. So you can restore them with Checkpoint if you don't like a change you made or peace of mind.

Hi Sorry all, life got in the way, not sure if I'll be able to release an update for this anytime in the near future. I didn't even get to finish playing SMTV before my vacation was over!

I'm sorry, I'm new to this. How do I run this btw?
It's an .nro you'll have to run it with Homebrew Launcher on a hacked switch
sorry for ask. save editor can be used for Eggs Ns emulator?
Sorry not famillar with how the emulator works. If it emulates the saves and accounts the same way as a real switch it should work. That is to say give it a go to see.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
