Hardware Switch screen is black after fan repair

You are missing the Hinge.
I saw ppl sticking a tape under the Flat cable. It works :lol:
I would just replace it

Sadly it's impossible to troubleshoot any thing more. But that cable is what shows things on the screen. Without it, black screen.

Heck I don't know, maybe it's possible just to change the white hinge? The repair store probably knows more :)

Yeah, hope I can get this fixed I don't want $150 to just be gone that quickly

This was my first time doing any sort of technology repair. What an experience this has been
Sadly the Switch is... well... the least repairable Nintendo console to date imho. It's very brittle.

Chuck a NES to the wall. Just remove the broken plastic and just blow in the cartridge and start playing again.

Can defientely agree on that even when replacing the fan I was worried because of how much force that is needed on some parts to get them loose and they are so tiny as well.
