There aren't a lot of them but it seems to be growing slowly.
  • The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ — American Launch Edition (Nicalis)
  • The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ — European Launch Edition (Nicalis / HeadUp Games)
  • Cave Story+ — American Launch Edition (Nicalis)
  • Fate Extella: The Umbral Star (MARVELLOUS!)
I think it's safe to say that every Nicalis release will include a manual (and more) at launch. ;)

Funny how manuals were just normally included before and now they're a bonus.

P.S. If you know of any other games please post below. Thanks.

I miss manuals :'( .

I also miss games coming in giant boxes filled with stuff way before "collectors editions" became a thing.
remember buying pc games in the 1990's lol. big box with a few floppies or a cd lol. i can fid about 3 switch consoles in the warcraft 2 box.....
the no manuals thing is to reduce cost.. Just like those shitty eco water bottles that are so thin the entire bottle twists when you first open it... Soon their wont be any physical media and the game will not be included in the special edition box... just a download code..

I'd love to know the economics of a digital-only platform. It would seem to me that cutting out the cost of making and distributing physical carts would be quite a substantial saving, and therefore would allow a significant reduction in the price of game downloads. Not only that, it kills the second-hand market and gives them a larger portion of every sale. Sounds like a win/win to me, I don't undestand why it's taking forever to get there.

It's not only about reducing costs. It's about being environmentally friendly.

Business. If companies could even not release a game/media and get paid for it, they would do it.

I do absolutely prefer physical media for my games.
Also every Game should have its manual: Printed for physical copies, PDF for Dowload Content.

Manuals could be some kind of Art, also a good manual and Packaging will raise sellings (collectors)

Born after the 90's, I see.

Well, I was born in the 70's. Gamed all the way till now.
Got them manuals waaaaayyyyy back then and never used them (except the Zelda LTTP golden booklet for the hardest puzzles).

Modern games have an elaborate training level on the start of the game so.... noop don't need them :D
(they will just collect dust in the cupboard)

And they are useless too now we have the era of the incredible INTERNET
