That's what I did originally. Updated atmosphere and then the system firmware while I was booted into emummc. This sigpatch error wouldn't have anything Todo with it?
I have no idea what your setup is like, but it looks to me like your setup may include out-of-date components, since you still have an old Kosmos/Atlas splash screen. If I were you, I'd delete the atmosphere and bootloader folders from the SD card and redownload Atmosphere and Hekate. I would also make sure I have these patches on my SD card:

Hi guys. I still have the old Atlas/Kosmos splashscreen as above poster, but both my Hekate and Atmosphere are on latest. Should I be concerned? My Switch FW is latest also. Thoughts and help appreciated [emoji846]

If you run Daybreak while in your emuMMC, you will update your emuMMC.

It's quite possible I have outdate software so
I will give this a try! Thank you much

I have a question about what 'initializing' the switch does.
And if there's corrupt data somewhere, could it go as far as making sd cards not read even by hekate, assuming that's before loading any firmware?

I'm still trying to understand if the problem with my sd card slot is really the hardware side, or if there's something that could've affected it in software like a bad install on the emunand or something like that (since I was having trouble installing some things)

Hey, do I format my SD far FAT32 or exFAT? I forget.

I am trying to find where it explains in the Ultimate Guide buy I'm not having any luck.

Use formatting tools such as Guiformat or Minitool partition wizard for FAT32, or use build in window formatter for exFAT, recommendation is FAT32.

Hey thanks! Under "allocation unit size" do I choose 32768 or 65536?

From what I understand 64k will make the files take up more space but be a bit faster to load, which may not matter as much for the switch. I picked 32k because from what I heard it didn't make enough of a difference and I'd rather have more space for stuff :P

afaik, allocation size is irrelevant with the switch. I asked this very question when I was formatting my 1TB micro sd card, and that was the answer I was given. size won't change, and speed should be the same, I believe. I did test both, and that was my conclusion as well.

A splash screen isn't as significant as you would think. All it is is a .PNG file that the console loads. As long as the actual CFW files are updated such as Hekate and/or Atmosphere, then the splash screen is insignificant.

Initializing the console has no affect on SD cards nor the ability to read them. And since the SD card slot is very prone to breaking, the issue is more than likely the SD card slot especially given the previous symptoms.

Is there a known and safe way to boost the fps in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity?
The only way to boost it would be through overclocking. How safe that is depends on how much you overclock the Switch.

Hey, I am setting up a second Switch with Atmosphere and when I did this the first time I recall having to dump a file called "Title Keys" but I can't remember why or how I did that and the Guide doesn't seem to go over it now.

Any advise would be great. thanks.

It sounds like you have nogc enabled. Disabling this will depend if you use Hekate or fusee to launch Atmosphere. If it is Hekate, you can disable nogc from within Hekate itself. If you use fuseee instead, you will have to edit the nogc line in the bct.ini file to 0.

Title keys are used to decrypt digital-only content. Unless you're datamining or want to unpack those files on a computer, you don't really have a use for title keys. But if you still want to dump them, you can use Lockpick_RCM to do the job.

Is Lockpick_RCM the payload that comes with the SD Card Setup or is it the one that you use from the CFW menu? In the past I think there were two lockpick files, I recall getting confused the first time I tried figuring it out.

I don't know what "CFW menu" could be referring to as not only are there multiple CFW but also multiple menus but Lockpick_RCM is a payload that you can download from SDSetup. It also has its own GitHub page where you can download the latest version manually.
