Hey, Just got a switch that's already modded with athmposhere and currently has autorcm enable. It's on 9.0 firmware with no emunand.


Whats the safest way to update sysnand to the latest firmware then create a emunand also on latest firmware? I'm not sure if it's safe to just update the firmware normally or do i have to use chordijour?

I'm trying to sell my unpatched switch, but I'm having some trouble figuring out a fair price. I am currently trying to sell mine for about 255 euros without accessories (so just the tablet), where I offer the dock for 20ish euros extra. Is this a fair price or should I go lower?

As I'm from America, I'm unsure of the conversion rates but if you're selling an unpatched Switch, you can charge MSRP since those are no longer being produced. The demand for them is very high since all other consoles on the market are patched which require a modchip to hack and that is not easy to accomplish. Don't be afraid to charge more than what you would normally charge as many people are willing to cough up the money for an easily hackable unit.

Well you cannot use ChoiDujour as it only supports up to firmware 6.1. Your real options include the homebrew application, Daybreak, or eMMChacgen if you don't want to use homebrew.

1. As long as the updates you are downloading using this feature were obtained legitimately, there should be no issue
2. If by "stock clean NAND", you mean the sysMMC then the answer is yes if you have never run any CFW or homebrew on sysMMC otherwise the answer is no because you would risk getting banned in that case
3. There is always a risk of getting banned when going online with a hacked console

How do I access Hekate in order to let my switch read physical games on newer firmware. At some point I gave up and started going to older firmware, dumping the game cards, and then playing them that way, but I am running out of storage space. A step-by-step process would be preferable, and assume that I know nothing about terms, since I keep forgetting the details of how to manage cfw since I only update it about once every 6 months or so so I forget a lot.

Could anyone please tell me if this looks to be a normal hidden partition emunand setup (for SX OS)? My situation: SX OS shows that emunand is enabled and it works, but I cannot seem to migrate it with Hekate. I'm totally lost, thanks for checking!

sure, the only thing is any games installed to the microsd card will need to be reinstalled, and possibly emunnand if you have it set up

You'll start the game on your switch, you don't need to play it, just make sure you run it at least once. use JKSV to 'restore' the save file for the game. If you want an example, backup the game, it should make a directory under /jksv/ for it. you'll want to put yours under that dir too.

They have keys specific to the console, You'll need to make a new one with the new console. The games are the same, you'll need to use the keys from the new console also.

You can backup the save files with jksv and restore them on the new console. As noted above you'll need to open the game at least once before you can restore the saves.
