You can put XCI files on your external drive.[/QUOTE]
is it possible to install NSZ files?

1) Make a backup of your SD card
2) Download the latest release of atmosphere and put it on your sd card
3) Download the latest release of hekate and put it on your sd card (only if you use hekate for booting)
4) Download the latest release of ChoiDujourNX and the homebrew you are using and put it in your switch folder
5) Download the firmware files for 9.2.0, put it in your firmware folder and update with ChoiDujourNX

Do I need to do anything else if I'm using incognito?

Hi! I'm planning to buy a Switch to install CFW on. I just wanted to know if you can play online on sysnand stock with downloaded nsp games installed on emummc CFW. Thanks in advance.
As long as you never go online with the partition that is using CFW & homebrew, you should be fine.

Hello, So I have a switch, it is hackable, i have the tools to do so, bought my switch mainly for animal crossing, and would like to play online with my friends, but would also like to hack my switch, I only have a 32 gb SD card though, Should I mod my console or naw? Will i be able to play online still with my friends if i use emunand or.. whatever?
Only if you never go online with the partition (i.e. sysMMC or emuMMC) where you perform CFW and homebrew. However 32 GB may not be big enough to support emuMMC since the Switch's eMMC is 29.7 GB in size.

You can still use them. Only your console is banned, not your game cartridges.
Hi, thank you for the answer!

Reading on the WEB I see that game cartridges have an ID that can be banned from Nintendo. Is it true? I never dumped my game card, so I'm the only owner.

It's possible that the banned console leaves some tracks on the game card?

Theoretically, it's possible. Not for traces on the cartridges but banning the game certificate on Nintendo's server. But Nintendo has only banned systems yet.

So at worst they ban the game only, not the whole new console, right?

What do you suggest me? Can I play on the new console or is better to not use the old gamecards?

I want to remove Kosmos and just have a clean atmosphere.

Do I delete every file and folder on my sd except Nintendo and EMUMcc to reset?

Has anyone updated cfw with "match version with local users" as alternative to choi? I want to update to 9.0.2. and was thinking first to update atmosphere and then just go with matching software with my friends ofw. Has anyone tried it, as on paper it seems like much easier way to update cfw?

I have the latest versions of tinfoil and sxos. That being said I enabled certain cheats for sonic mania in tinfoil. Then activated them once again via sxos.

But the cheats, such as 99 lives, aren’t showing up. Any idea as to why?

Hello.

I recently bought a non patched Nintendo switch. I updated it to the latest 9.1.0 firmware then installed atmosphere on sysnand. I NEVER used wifi on sysnand. I have some NSP installed on sysnand.
My question is, if I do the following, would there a be a problem/ban?
I power off my Nintendo switch, remove SD card, plug SD card to computer, replace old atmosphere files needed with the newer ones, power my switch on stock, run 9.2.0 update through nintendo's servers, shut it off, put SD in switch, rcm and stuff til sysnand boots.

Or do I NECESSARILY have to use choidujournx?

Thanks.

Hey all.

I'm having some troubles with a few games I've archived previously. I'm finding that after I redownload them, I keep getting the message "The software was closed because an error occurred." without any error code, just immediately showing it after launching the game.

Currently, on the latest FW, Kosmos, Hekate, uninstalled and reinstalled them through Tinfoil, have the latest sigpatches (but I don't think that its the issue as other games are playable). Any ideas on what to do or is this an SD card corruption issue? Thank you.

Why? Vanilla Atmosphere is objectively worse than Kosmos.

It does work. The problem is it requires two consoles running the same game while the one with the higher firmware has the game running on a higher update version.

Going online with a hacked console can and will always carry a risk of a ban.
