So I appear to have lost my nand backup, my hard drive on my pc got corrupted and with it went my switch nand backup.
Im currently on firmware 7 running atmosphere with unburnt fuses since 4.1 due to using Choidujour, can I ever go back to a clean nand?
First, you should have kept your backup stored somewhere safe. It is recommended that one keep his or her NAND backup somewhere online, like Google Drive. NAND backups can usually be significantly compressed.

You are probably unable to return to a clean state without a clean NAND backup. That being said, there's no need for a clean NAND backup if you don't care about playing online. Depending on what you've done with Atmosphere, your NAND might also be less dirty than you think.

Atmosphere for 6.2 works ut reinx not
You can try to get ReiNX working by updating your files, but I would recommend using Atmosphere. It has more features and is updated for frequently.

QUESTION - Ight so I've gotten pretty lost in this forum because the 3ds died, and I never got a switch. I remember seeing things like freeshop would be impossible on the switch, recently though, I've seen a few videos where freeshop is possible..? Is it true?

There is a tool that will allow you to install most Switch games directly from file hosting sites like Google Drive.
"Freeshop" on the Switch is currently impossible.

Ok im a total noob and a bit confused - I really appreciate you help.

I just turned off my switch. and booted it up normally, there it has OFW.

When I boot with a payload to my emunand, im booting up in emunand. I have a "emummc on/off toggle". And I thought I could use that one, to switch between the systems. And in some degree i can. - I can switch to my sysnand (its white and the name is different), but in current system version it says "firmware is 8.1 (AMS 0.9.2)"

So if I wanna play online (sysnand), I should boot up normally?

And if I wanna play offline (emunand), I should boot with a payload?

I cant switch between emunand and sysnand with emummc on/off?

If you're using fusee-primary, it's going to boot into Atmosphere regardless of which NAND it is. If you want to play online with your clean sysNAND, you need to boot normally or use the Hekate OFW option.

Like I said before I'm completely new to nintendo switch hacking, where do I go on to hacking my switch? What kinds of hacks are there?
Before you can do anything, you need to make sure your Switch is exploitable.
  1. Preferably, your Switch is unpatched. If it was purchased before July 2018, it's unpatched. If it was purchased after July 2018, you will want to check the serial number and/or check to see if you can boot an RCM payload.
  2. If your Switch is patched, then it will only be exploitable if you're on 4.1.0 and have never connected to the internet.

Ok, can I from emunand to Hekate and then start OFW? what tools do i need for that?

Hello all. I moved all my old sd card contents to a new one yesterday and the Swtich didn't/couldn't move past the "Sept by Atmosphere" screen. I did a "clean" install and the switch was able to boot successfully to the CFW. I've been able to install games but then I had an install error in Goldleaf and had to restart the Switch, at which point I had the previous error of being stuck at the Sept screen. I'm not too sure how to proceed at this point, any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
Is the SD card formatted as exFAT?

What emulators support multiplayer? I heard Reicast does not. How about lakka or retroarch? Also how do I give an NRO full memory usage?

I started the hack using a 32gb card but now quickly wanna use a 128gb card. Do I need to copy over everything that’s on the 32gb card to the new card? And once it’s installed I can delete the nps file from the folder right?

If you don't have an emuNAND, you can just copy and paste all of the files and folders. Make sure the new SD is FAT32 if your Switch doesn't have exFAT support.
