It shouldn't do anything. Installing the .NSP file is the same as buying it from the eShop.Hi all. I have a game which i played with cartdrige (at that time i had no sd inserted). Now i want to install its nsp backup, but in SD. What does the nsp installation do to the old saves? and to the old game in NAND?

Hey guys, i'm pretty new for this jailbreak.
The version of my switch is currently v2.3.0
I recently bought this payload injector : ns-atmosphere and tried to follow their guide
I updated the payload for hekate v4.2
Issue 1: I got an error about my micro sdxc is not supported and I should upgrade. Also I can't launch any CFW, so I cannot upgrade offline with ChoiDuJourNX at the moment :/
Issue 2 :
I copied the "1.x-3.x.zip" on my SD card (found on ns-atmosphere)
When booting on "hekate", I click on launch, but I got an error message like "no main configuration found".
Someone in this topic got the same error, and needed to install "SX OS Executer" on the root. So now when I start hekate, I select the boot file (SX OS), my switch start but nothing happens after clicking on "album".
Did I miss a step ? I think few things are missing in the zip file "1.x-3.x.zip" on the website "ns-atmopshere" :/
Yes, but i meant, does the nsp installation overwrite the original game files? maybe i have been not much clear, i want to install the nsp backup game in SDcard, of a game i have already installed in NANDIt shouldn't do anything. Installing the .NSP file is the same as buying it from the eShop
If its being installed to another location, it won't replace where it was originally installed to. Although why install the same game in 2 locations? Wouldn't it be easier to remove it first via Data Management then install it to where you want it to be?Yes, but i meant, does the nsp installation overwrite the original game files? maybe i have been not much clear, i want to install the nsp backup game in SDcard, of a game i have already installed in NAND
Yes, shure this is the correct way. But i'd like to keep saves, and deleting by Data Management erase them as well. Maybe do i have to use checkpoint homebrew before deleting the game in NAND?If its being installed to another location, it won't replace where it was originally installed to. As far as I know, Data Management doesn't touch the saves. But sure, you can back them up via a homebrew save manager such as Checkpoint or EdiZon.Yes, shure this is the correct way. I have an older Switch that should be vulnerable to the CPU flaw. Currently it is not hacked and on the latest firmware as I haven't gotten around to using homebrew yet. I have some questions I can't find the answer to:
1. Nearly all the hacks seem to be software-based and rely on a specific firmware version. Is nobody really working on the joycon-port exploit that is supposedly unpatchable?
2. I understand that a hacked system can get banned, I accept that, but what I want to know is does Nintendo just ban the system (and yes, I realize this means CDN access so no eshop, patches, or even firmware updates)or even your account? The first Switch ban I heard of was an account ban..... but supposedly that person abused the hell out of the CDN and was attempting to exploit it for free software, so it's not hard to believe Nintendo went out of their way for that one. Does Nintendo ban accounts too for having a hacked system? I don't care if my system gets banned, but I would not want my account to get banned.... especially since they removed the ability to unlink your Nintendo account in a recent firmware update.
3. Right now the only thing I really want to hack my Switch for is to perform manual local backups of my saves, and a nand backup/dump (as well as my keys/licenses/etc). I know there are apps to do this, but I don't know if they require CFW and/or installing the backup app to the Switch (which seems to be a guarantee to get banned) before you can run it or what. From what I understand of the CPU-exploit, it will allow you to execute code on the CPU before the Switch's OS itself ever even boots, right? So then, if I were to use this exploit to run a save backup tool and/or NAND and key dumper, would it be 100% undetectable since the Switch's OS never starts and it's a read-only operation? Is this even possible? And if so, are there any such apps to do this? Also if you can do this, would this mean that restoring a save could risk me getting a ban since that would obviously have to write to the nand and could possibly be detected?
For now, all I want to do is backup my saves and if possible dump my nand/keys too without permanently installing anything or leaving any trace/doing any nand write operations.
Given that the Splatoon 2 bundles were released way before the Fusee Gelee exploit became publicly available and they don't typically update the bundles, the consoles that come with it are most likely not patched.Anyone know if they are releasing patched splatoon 2 bundles. I found couple on local store and wanted to get one since the regular switches they are selling are patched according to the serial #. I manage to see the regular switch serials but not the splatoon 2 bundle.
Use ChoiDujourNX to not only update your firmware to the upcoming new Pokemon game but also to provide exFAT support to the firmware you update to. That game is most likely going to require 6.X so choose between any of those firmwares. Also a dongle is not necessary but useful if you want to launch CFW/homebrew while on the go and you don't have a computer/phone nearby to send a payload with.Hey guys, I'm new to all this. I am able to get the homebrew launcher running, but I want to update the firmware since my Micro SD (128gb) won't work and I believe needs the update.
I'd also like to play the new Pokemon game next week while still being able to run homebrew.
I'm on version 4.0.1. Is there an ideal set up for me to aim for?
I read a couple pages back there's an app called ChoiDujoruNX to update the firmware.
Is there a certain firmware I should install? Is it recommended to buy a dongle for full functionality?

I did not link my switch to my Nintendo account. I'm on Atmosphere now. I can't see my play times. What is the solution?

If you've gotta clean hack-free NAND backup, now is the time to restore it. If not, a factory reset can reduce your chances of being banned slightly but not as much as a clean hack-free NAND backup.Lol. Can I do it now running cfw? Do I need to be connected to internet? What's the easiest way out.

The tool to clear error logs has been removed from the public because it has been proven to cause bans. The only way to remove them is with a clean hack-free NAND backup.Yes I got a clean back up before I started all this.. So how do I clean logs before restoring?
