I was afraid of that, thanks for the infoIt is impossible to use the Switch without a ban and preserve a downgrade path simultaneously; you must choose one or the other.

There are some issues with SX OS when it comes to AutoRCM on firmware 6.0. The reason I say SX OS is because AutoRCM worked fine for me in the time I was on firmware 6.0 using both ReiNX and Atmosphere.Ok so this is wierd I was in the process of creating emunand with sx os when I took some advice and decided not to run emunand. So once it finished I deleted emunand and now for some reason I cannot remove autorcm.
Now these may not be related but they happened in the same day
For starters, I would not try to install or uninstall AutoRCM with SX OS V2.0. Next, try booting the briccmii payload and see if it can reenable or disable AutoRCM. If you don't want to disable AutoRCM but keep it on your system, use ChoiDujourNX to overwrite your console's files including whatever AutoRCM is installed with the one found in ChoiDujourNX.So is there a fix?
Maybe I will have to give in and install nsp files vs xci files and start using Reinx
I bought my SX pro when they first launched for the reason or the dongle and xci files but now I am getting annoyed
Go to the first post of this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-banning-hub-warning.508710/Just bought a switch for my brother's birthday and it's on 4.1. We basically just want to pirate games and at some point maybe restore it to normal and play legit online. It's never been connected to the internet so would I still have to connect and then redirect the DNS like in the guide. Also what's the simplest way to achieve the above goal. Thanks
A real version of EmuNAND unlike the one TX made. However, there are no signs on when they will implement EmuNAND and you can do pretty much everything else with other CFWs such as ReiNX. Also RajNX is not its own CFW but a modification of Atmosphere and Hekate bundled as a starter pack.Hello! Switch noob here, just have a quick question. Why is everyone so eager for the Atmosphere firmware to be released? What is so special about it that isn't already possible with TX OS, ReiNX or RajNX? Thank you![]()
but the modified creport use layeredfs isn't it? it's not a kip file so I don't think it's a custom moduleNot surprised that creport doesn't work with SX OS. They're modules are not meant to be modified and only load their own proprietary components. This is just one of the many issues with closed-source projects. I'm honestly surprised they didn't just steal creport and implement it into their own CFW.
Use either ReiNX or tomGER's SD files. So I'm confused as to where I should even start.
I have a switch I got around last year, It currently has 6.0.0 on it and the only thing I wanna do with it is save editing for my games. Nothing else, specifically Xenoblade and Breath of the Wild and Monster Hunter Generation. Where do I go from here? Can someone give me some guidance?
This is a common misconception. Creport and especially the homebrew menu are not enabled via LayeredFS. They are actually loaded via the loader.kip. If you don't believe me, launch ReiNX without the loader.kip under sysmodules but keep the 100D folder under Titles as well as hbmenu.nro on the root. When you press the Album, it will bring up the Album.but the modified creport use layeredfs isn't it? it's not a kip file so I don't think it's a custom module
and do you have answer on what should be in the error history is settings? because I got multiple crashes and it keeps empty and I wonder if the system store the crash log elsewhere and send it once connect to the internet
thanks
Yes, a factory reset doesn't remove all traces of CFW such as bogus error codes so unless you have a NAND backup, your ban is inevitable.Hi guys
Noob question (here's the place right )
I've been going to town with my switch in all sorts of manners: lfs game injection at first, sx as soon as it was released, nsp installation (through devmenu then sx os), basically all the bad stuff I could do. Now what I didn't do is go online a single time since before even my first RCM mode use.
NOW FOR THE QUESTION: I haven't got a nand backup, if I completely erase my switch (restore factory settings or something) will my dodgy activity still be detectable ? Is my switch already done for or is there hope ?
I believe most people are using 64 GB at least since Atmosphere was hyped to have EmuNAND meaning we would need to dedicate 32 GB of space on the SD card to load it. However what is more important is ensuring the SD card is not fake which can be found even if you buy from a trusted reseller. The general rule of thumb is if the deal seems too good to be true, it indeed is. Also NSP files are already smaller than any XCI file of the same game; they cannot be compressed any further.I was curious what the recommended sd card size is, what most people are using -----> 256 gb?
Also, was wondering if there is a way to compress .NSP as I saw trimmed .XCI going around.....curious how much mb can be saved etc.

If you're ever planning on going online with a hacked Switch, you should always restore a clean NAND backup made before hacking to ensure you do not flag the console for a ban.Quick (maybe not-so-quick) question
I put my 5.1.0 Switch into airplane mode and deleted all internet settings, made a NAND backup and then hacked my Switch for the first time. Now, I've decided to make this Switch primarily for homebrew. So what I did was, I went and contacted Nintendo so that they could unlink my Nintendo Account from this Switch (so that I could go all in with it and not worry about my account getting banned), and I also told them the reason I wanted this is that I didn't have access to this Switch and was planning on getting a new one. They told me to deregister my Nintendo Account from the eShop website, which I now did.
Keeping in mind that my Switch has been in airplane mode even until now and without any internet settings registered, will that be all for me to connect to the internet to remove my user account (and my Nintendo Account) from my hacked Switch and not worry about getting banned in the future? Or do I actually need to restore my NAND backup and delete it from there which will also prompt me to connect to the internet and update?
So it's going to be the latter, right? Thanks in advance. If you're ever planning on going online with a hacked Switch, you should always restore a clean NAND backup made before hacking to ensure you do not flag the console for a ban.
Correct. Better to be safe than sorry. So it's going to be the latter, right? Thanks in advance.
