Do you test with payload? You have to get a jig and Type C cable to send a payload to your Switch.
Depends. As it currently stands the SX Pro won't work on your console. Mine has a XAW700182 serial and works, so yours must be just over the threshold.
I'd say you should only keep the SX Pro if you're going to try and seek out a lower serial number Switch or if you believe that TX will deliver an alternative coldboot exploit that they will be able to deliver using the existing SX Pro dongle per the most recent update on their website (sorry, can't post a hyperlink as I'm new).
Yeah, I was not aware of this back then. When I purchased mine, only a very few serial numbers are confirmed to be patched and my serial number was on the safe list at that time. I should have checked more often, can't really blame anyone because everyone assumed those units only existed in Japan.

Since I have checked like dozens of Switch boxes (and all seem to be un-patched), I was just wondering if any of you, especially the ones with patched devices, have a copyright with year 2018 printed on top of the box.
Every single box I saw was 2017 and probably it could be an additional indicator for patched revisions.
I just added it to my data set and if you like the idea, feel free spread it @Essometer

How could I have mislooked the serial of my device and assumed that it's the patched version when it is not? Thanks to this thread, having a second-look at the list clarified that it is not so. It's now time to hack this Switch.
Sorry about that. The reason I asked despite myself owning the same set is because I bought mine in Dec last year and am sourcing for a console for a friend. But since the patched sets started appearing I am worried that getting the same bundle would not work due to newer batches, hardware revisions etc.
