Hacking Question Switch battery drained issue (Payloaded, half second splash and then blacked)

Hey guys,

This is the second time i let die my switch battery and doesnt matter what i do, it doesn't work. I hope someone can help me.

Current situation:

• Firmware 9.0.1 + Reinx 2.4
• TegraRCM detects the RCM enabled
• I inyect the payload (Reinx 2.4)
• The purple Reinx splash appears for half second.
• The screens go black again.
• If i plug the switch to the PC, TegraRCM dont detect the RCM enabled. If i push 10-15 secs the power button, it detects it.

Methods i tried:

• After inyecting the payload, i let plugged the type C cable for 4 hours.
• After inyecting the payload, i plugged off the type C cable and stay in the dock overnight, about +8 hours
• After inyecting the payload, i plugged off the type C cable and plug the charger as quick i could. (This method worked the first time the battery got drained.).
• Without inyecting the payload, i let the charger plugged for 2 hours

Do you have any idea what is happening? Is there other method i may try?

I could solve it! Instead of inyecting with Reinx playload, i used the Hekate 5.0.0 payload. It went to the Hekate menu without problems. Also, i could see the battery was at 100%. Seems like i could charge the battery somehow while in RCM

So.. the problem was that i was inyecting the wrong payload

How you run 9.0.1 if ReiNX only supports 8.1.0 yet?

Two months ago i downloaded the Kosmos preconfigured bundle from sdsetup. I could inyect the payload with Tegra 2.6, launch in the switch menu and play any game without problems. Also, I upgrade to 9.0.1 through ChoiDujourNX.

Never have any issues. Nor using the Reinx payload
