Hello all, i have jailbroken my unpatched v1 earlier this year and everything was working fine, i havent used it in months and was trying to get back just this week, i remember my switch being in AutoRCM so ive tried charging it overnight but it has no charging indicators, yet i still tried to connect it to my pc plus using tegrarcm to inject a payload but to no avail, it is not getting detected and i have used multiple cables to charge and to connect it to pc, my switch has been drained before but when i charge it it has a charging indicator on top but now it doesnt and i have tried all the possible button combination not that it is relevant right now, i am thinking if the battery is dead or is there something im doing wrong? i have also tried opening it but it is hard for me to unscrew the 4 tri wing screws located at the back plate to the point it is stripping both my 0.6 y screw driver and the screw itself. TYIA.

but it has no charging indicators,
That is correct. If you are in AutoRCM mode (and the Switch is waiting for a payload to be injected) you will see no battery indicator.
The Switch will slow charge but not fast charge.
It should be fully charged after one night.

But you should see it show up with TegraRCM anyway.
With a dead battery, you will not be able to boot OFW/CFW but Hekate should show up.
Other things to try might be a different USB cable or another PC/Android Smartphone (Rekado) to see if it might be the PC drivers.
Sometimes it is just bad luck like a broken USB port.

Not all screwdrivers are created equal.
Sometimes it helps by blowing a hairdryer at it for 10~20 seconds to soften the plastic a bit.
But good screwdrivers are the best remedy.
But I doubt that you will find anything inside.
A dead battery looks the same as a good one and a broken USB port might only be visible with a good camera.
