Hacking Switch battery drained. atmosphere only shows battery symbol

This happened to me once before, but I forgot how I fixed it. My switch battery drained due to a power outage, and now it won't charge in the dock. Injecting the payload gets atmosphere to boot, but it only shows a battery symbol. Is there a trick to getting the switch to charge again, or is it actually charging very slowly in atmosphere when that symbol is shown?

If you have auto rcm activated, then follow these steps to fix it:
- connect the switch to your pc and let it charge at least 10 minutes (the switch only charges slowly in auto rcm)
- install hekate to your switch if you haven't done so already and inject the hekate payload (you may see a red battery symbol, if so wait for the switch to charge a little bit more)
- when you are in hekate let the switch charge to at least 5% or else it won't boot (you'll see the battery percentage at the bottom right)
- boot into atmosphere
If you don't have auto rcm activated, simply charge the switch
