Note that saves don't work for me atm, you should wait for mememenu/similar.
Minecraft works, others not tested.

People doesn't even bother to read the most important part, if save doesn't work then it's better to wait instead of wasting time

To help people, the correct command should be:

hactool.exe -k yourkeyfile.txt -x test.nca --romfs=romfs.bin --exefsdir=C:\Your\Path

So it extract romFS to a romfs.bin and for exefs he etract the exefs in to the files, so we have main, main.npdm etc.

correct?

Yes, but there's not really any warning on any of the tutorials I've seen so far about this.

I'm wanting to launch legit backups of my own cart dumps. If I could use the same Title ID and Cert, there would be no reason (or at the very least, less reason) for Nintendo to ban me.

Pirates by now should know that scene dumps don't have valid certs and will most likely get you banned. I would like to believe that in the future we may be able to play legit cart dumps with little chance of a ban.
