Hey,

I have done something dumb, after swapping the mainboards (the Famicom 3DS is just fine now with the european mainboard), I broke the Circle-Pad & Home Menu Button flex-cable. So, the Circle-Pad and Home Menu Button isn't working anymore. And I think I broke one of the ZIF-Connector on the mainboard.

My question now is, what should I do and where do I get cheap replacement parts like a new Circle Pad, Home Menu Button and ZIF-Connector? Or is it better to buy a second hand New3DS LL (japanese) and swap the mainboards again? I won't make the mistake again

Thanks in advance for any helpful comments!

Probably you won't never get them. I think nobody is that dumb to disassembly a Super Famicom Edition New3DS and sell all parts seperate.

Oh, my mistake. Were they the same for the 3ds and 3ds xl? Or was it dsi dsi xl... idk.
idk new 3ds was my first 3ds ever and I got a n3ds for my girlfriend and a N3ds XL for me and I already looked in to the colored buttons :) I think they did that on purpose so people woulden't swap but now they've released that famicom they have made colored XL buttons too as it seems, should have done that from the start and released the xl with those buttons too, blegh

Hi,

so you swapped an EU mainboard in that Famicom model right? Does everything fit as it should? Is the power socket in the mobo compatible in the Famicom model? And where have you bought that japanese model pls? I would love to get only the covers and the buttons and not the whole 3ds but i cant find any parts :(
