Homebrew [SUPPORT] The BootCTR9 support thread

Is it the complete path from based on the sd-cards root? Or maybe there is a spelling mistake in the path. Also keep in mind that its case sensitive.

normaly the default ascii splash is the fallback used when the file could not be found.
yes, i also made a mistake 0 was the name of the folder

got it to work silly me.thank you for the help!

Have you testet, if it boots faster when you direktly boot luma?
Also don't enable the pathfix on firm luma builds. I don't know if it can cause trouble, but it not needed anymore.

I can concur that BootCTR9 doesn't work with b9s 1.2. Here is what my N3DS shows when trying to run via Luma 8.0 chainloading. Also attached is the crash dump from when I try to run BootCTR9.

Does the b9s 1.2 version also support loading a9lh format payloads as well or is backwards compatibility limited to b9s 1.0 payloads?

It's the config file that is included in the zip file i didin't touched it (sorry if my english is bad)

Huh what i have to edit in the file ?View attachment 91943
Every entry with [], like [DEFAULT] or [KEY_X] represents one payload you want to load, DEFAULT is the default payload loaded without pressing a key or an undefined key, and KEY_X for defining a payload loaded when key X is pressed.
For every payload you have multiple options you are able to set.
"path" in excample defines the location of your payload, based on the root of you SD-card.
"payload" defines the payload type, while -1 means that it should be automaticly detected.
"splash" defines the type of the play, based on the values defined here.
"splash_image" defines the path of the image or animation file you whant to use before a payload is loaded.

Okay but when i config the default correctly it still does the error screen

I get an error when I'm using my freeShop download of Pokemon Moon. I get this and my 3ds crashes.
"An exception occured
Processor: ARM9
Exception type: prefetch abort (svcBreak)"
But when I use the regular boot.firm, I don't get this error. Any help would be much appreciated.

Was something with the screen buffer parsing, I fixed it but got another problem after that ^^'

Could be something with the reboot patches, its quit some time since I testet extended memory games the last time, seems like I need to install one again on my o3DS for testing puposes ^^

Help! Quite often after the Animation finishes, it gives me a black screen with Luma's text saying:
[Start Quote]
An error has occurred:

Launched from an unsupported location: .

Press any button to shutdown
[End Quote]
This happens occasionally, and is annoying. After rebooting, it works again.
Does it have to do, with under [DEFAULT] I changed delay to 0? I wanted to have the animation but shortest boot time possible.
Edit:
Now something else weird happened! The exact same thing, but instead of "Launched from unsupported location: . " it says "Launched from unsupported location: [DEB. "
Might it have to do with the fact I'm using Boot9Strap? I got this off a video.
