Hacking supercard lite question

hi, im going to invest in a ds lite and i havnt heard much news on it, can anyone tell me how the supercard lite is, if its stable in working, weather it fits flush so it doesnt poke out of the bottom and if it works good with the superkey

I have another, unrelated, question. The new SC lite i have is japanse, is it safe for me to flash it with the new english firmware? Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't want to destoy my SC lite
