Hardware erm...help

i think 3 weeks ago i bought myself a nintendo ds lite for almost 1405 hryvian (34 dollars specifaclly) with also a flash cart clone, a battery, and a 64 gb micro sd card, the problem is the console itself, while i mean it IS pretty used with some screws missing cuz which i did bought it used but my main problem is the screen, the top screen specifaclly, while turning on the system, the top screen was normal like the bottom, until when using it ten minutes later, the top screen looks more blue-er, darker and whiteer, while the bottom was absolutely fine, i tried sending it to repair services, the first one reccomend me to fix it myself, the second didnt allow for parts, the third dont work for consoles (which of course i send to the phone and pc repairs) and while the fourth can do it, the repair costs 2000 hryvian (almost half of 49 dollars) so i refused and told them to give it back, now i dont know what to do with it, dont know if my purchase was worth it or not thanks to the STUPID top screen, and im almost broke already thanks to ds lite lmao

but seriously, what should i do with it, should i fix it even thought i cant do it because of these STUPID SMALL screwers, or like idk maybe fix it for me or buy me a new one both for free IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD DO IT FOR FREE im just....im just asking ok....anyways, anyone?

If the screen is streaked or flickering, perhaps it is a problem with the upper screen potentiometer.
Adjust upper screen potentiometer, or replace upper screen potentiometer.
If it's just blue and dark, it may be a screen FPC problem.
Replug the cable, or replace the upper screen.

well, flickering also happens when using it a bit long, so maybe ill try to fix this "potentiometer", ill respond with the results
