Hacking Supercard Lite patching software

Hi

I know SuperCard patching software can trim roms, enable faster play rom, and compress roms.
I have SuperCard Lite and I installed supercard software v2.58 with 1.7 firmware.

In the software, there is no trim rom and faster play rom options. The compress rom option is grayed out.

It is because it is SuperCard Lite?
And can my supercard lite run roms that are patched by other SuperCard patching program?
I am asking this because I could play a rom perfectly patched by the miniSD version of the software.

My last question is which version of the software would have trim roms and faster play rom available?

I don't have the Lite, but it is the same with mine too- the option is grayed out. Hope someone can shed some light on this soon. I like the idea of trimming roms for faster play and squeezing in more games on a card

or
double click it.

goto the supercard list @ dualscene.net for patching options.
