I'm wondering how exactly you add these plug in's to your card? Do you just copy the bmp, ini, and nds files to the dsplug folder on your card? Or am I supposed to make a new folder for each plug in I download (like I did when I added the two emulators from the Supercard site).

Could someone walk me through exactly how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Just copy the Bmp icon and Ini file into the "_dstwoplug" folder and the nds file (ie. DSorganize.nds)& on the WikiQUOTE
How to add a Plugin
  • * Click on a 'Plugin' link to download the plugin file
    * Unzip it & copy the BMP icon and INI file into the '/_dstwoplug/' folder On your DSTwo MicroSD memory card
    * Click on the accompaning 'Program' link for the program file(s)
    * Unzip & place the *.NDS file also into the '/_dstwoplug/' folder
    * Make sure that the NDS file has the same name as the INI file - if it is different, just rename it
Note that some homebrew may need extra folders/files stored in specific area(s) on the flashcard
you may need to read any accompaning 'readme.txt' files that come with the program for further information on setting those programs up
Hope that helps

Thanks, that helped for most of the plug ins, but I'm still unable to install DSorganize.
When I download DSorganize I don't see a bmp or ini file at all. I only see the NDS file. Can anyone help on this?

Which links are you downloading from... the first post or the Wiki ??

I can't check the first post since it's on Filetrip as my Work thinks that is a malware site, but the link on the Wiki works just fine

Thanks! I was going through the first post all along. I didn't even notice the wiki. The links on the Wiki work without any problems. I put DSorganize on my DSiXL, but it kept freezing (or at least I thought it was freezing) on me, so I just took it off. I was trying to configure it, and it wouldn't let me save my settings or even go back to the menu page. All I could do was press the select button, which would bring something up on the top screen.

The touchscreen doesn't work on DSis unless the wifi is off...so if you were only trying to use the touch screen...

Ooopss My bad - I forgot to mention that (I always have my WiFi turned off so never had that problem) - I've altered the Wiki with that info now

I'm guessing you mean the link on first post.... well that's a link to the plugin on Filetrip and unfortunately Filetrip is having a bit of a 'clean-up' & it seems as though many DSTwo plugins are being targeted for deletion. (you can read posts about this on page 42 of this thread #619,#623,#629)

This is why I've downloaded all that I could & re-hosted them onto Mediafire and changed the Wiki links to point to those instead..

Until alidsl gets 'proper' access to a PC & update the first post - I would suggest trying links in first post & if they don't work - try the Wiki links instead

And if THAT doesn't work - the 'Emergency backup' @ http://scarabaeusscds2.sourceforge.net/plugindb/_dstwoplug/ may be able to help (although that's only up to Nov 2010 IIRC)

QUOTE(VatoLoco @ Feb 6 2011, 01:52 AM) The more the merrier, Jurassic=D
got a linky for it? - Im sure that Cannonfoddr would be happy to add it to his plugin wiki and database=)
While I'd love to add that to the Wiki - isn't it a iMenu sized graphic ??
I'd rather not start mixing 'iMenu' with 'plugin' graphics on that particular Wiki page otherwise it may cause confusion - after all iMenu graphics are 32-bit while 'plugin' one's are only 16-bit
