I'm trying to convert an .mkv file to use it in my meizu, but I can't get it to include the subtitles.
When I do an "internal structural analysis" of the file SUPER acknowledges that there is an .ass file in it, but can I make it include it in the conversion? If not, is there some other video conversion software out there that supports subtitles?

If you want to grab the ASS file from the MKV then I suggest the extraction options of MKVtoolnix. It is command line only but they work.

Help stuff http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolni...mkvextract.html
and it would probably be best to get the info from the info app:
http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/doc/mkvinfo.html

If you want to add it into a MKV file then MKVmerge (part of the same toolkit) is pretty good. It is more featured than megui (an excellent app for all things video by the way) when it comes to MKV muxing.

Or did you want to hardsub (as in put subs as part of the video stream, if so just use the hardsub options of avisynth via VSFilter (help and download in the bundled manual.
