GameCube controllers with the same adapter as Wii U?
Yes, they'll most likely just rebrand it for Switch, but you can still use your old Wii U or generic Chinese adapter if you already have one.

What I want to see is support for the Wii U Pro Controllers many of us paid a fortune for, but am not really expecting this to ever happen.

super sm4sh bros for wii u edition but we added every character and stage from the past so you can think it is actually a brand new smash™
Seriously? Larger roster, more stages, different mechanics for final Smash and just about every character.

"This is just like the Wii U version because I don't want that version to feel inferior for some reason."

People are seriously complaining about this? I didn't wake up for the full e3 presentation, but this is FUCKING AMAZING. EVERY character and all these mechanics changes? Love it.
Being able to pick female Pokemon trainer is cool. And I like the Zelda design change.
I want a return of the Pokemon stage from the N64.

I didn't know that Smash 4 had diagonal dodging.

Couldnt care less for the wii u version, but adding a few new stages and the rest just remakes from old entries and past characters isnt really something i would call "new". Not even the final smashes that are animations now, when it used to be fun to control giga bowser in the arena... Yup, looks super duper new to me.

Unless Smash4 had them, they're new. And the final smashes not taking a whole minute to conclude is definitely a welcome change. You're just ignoring all the individual mechanics changes despite how positive they are, too.

I would love if Shovel Knight appears, even though I don't own a Switch... I just own a switch where I can insert my chargers in...

So which Amiibo's need to come out to complete the Smash Bros line?
Ridley (announced)
Inkling (announced)
Daisy (announced)
Solid Snake
Ice Climbers
Wolf
Young Link
Pokemon Trainer

Am I missing anyone?

But you cant ignore the fact that they took too much from sm4sh. Probably pick it up as a base and just kept adding past stages and characters and adjusting a few mechanics here and there and then done. Pretty lazy if you ask me, considering the evolution from 64 > melee > brawl and sm4sh.

Those were all hardware leaps necessitating change more than anything else. You expected them to use a completely different engine going from Wii U to Switch? People generally liked Smash4, so there's no reason to do a complete 180 with the design, just add more content and tweak a lot of stuff.

If making a 100% complete Smash game with everything that's come previous in the series is "lazy," then sign me up for the lazy train.

Then call it sm4sh deluxe edition

It's not Sm4sh deluxe edition. Sm4sh is going to end up with about half the content of Ultimate. Really, all other Smash games are going to feel lacking after this. It's definitely going to make previous iterations of final Smashes feel clunky too.

Oh, and finally a portable version in which you can actually read the screen. Nice little cherry on top.

That's why called it deluxe edition. Grab sm4sh, add every older character and stage, tweak here and there and done :P Pretty much what nintendo did with mario kart 8 deluxe, minus all the older characters and stages.

It's going to be different game modes too, that much I can guarantee. Your logic is absolutely ridiculous. This is like saying Skyrim is the same as Oblivion Deluxe Edition just because they're on the same engine.

Also, no other version of Smash has Inklings or Ridley. A Sm4sh DX wouldn't, either. Sm4sh DX would've allowed them to be a lot lazier, they'd have no obligation to add previous characters or new ones. It'd be the same exact game with DLC characters included, and that's it. But I guess you'd rather pay $60 for that?
