I've never played any of the previous installments of SSB. Downloaded the demo for the 3DS version, and wow, this game is awesome. Still didn't discover why two buttons to jump and how the items work though.

Anyone else notice R.O.B's default skin in the local version is the actual NES colours instead of the Japanese Famicom design?
That's normal because of region barriers. Over here in the US, we had the normal NES design. Are you saying you guys always had the silly Famicon look, even though you guys had the NES' too?
Nah I just mean in Brawl we all had the famicom R.O.B, you had to cycle through the skins to see the one we recognise, and the artwork/trophies/etc all had the famicom colours.
Over here we had the Nes skin. That's odd that they left it as the Famicon version for the European release.
Hmm, are you sure?
I checked on Youtube, a couple videos of American gamers had the Japanese one as default. (/watch?v=UeL-w_0LafE /watch?v=W5qCLQnoCJE)
Plus don't you remember in all the cutscenes for example?
Single player mode is kind of weak... which is... a shame. Ever since it was announced they were dropping Subspace, I was worried, but now I have confirmed firsthand that nothing they offer comes even close. I never cared about the cutscenes which were alegedly why Sakurai removed it... they could have just made the fucking thing without them and it would be just as well.
It's ok, for a game like this multiplayer is what matters in the long run. Just hope that the netcode holds up once the game is in everyones hands.Single player mode is kind of weak... which is... a shame. He also came out with a reason recently as to why the circle pad pro does not work for super smash bros 3ds.Yeah, the lack of Subspace made this game more disappointing for me... And Sakurai's excuse was garbage. It sounds just like the Ice Climbers deal, they didn't implement it due to time restraints, and instead feed us lies to cover that up.

Some news article said:According to Sakurai, supporting the Circle Pad Pro requires actual use of the CPU's processor.
Just got it now!

Just got it now!
I have to say while I like the packaging, game and all I find the title of it pretty stupid "Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS" and then on the top or side it says "Nintendo 3DS".
Wow, you've got the European copy that literally everyone here has. You're cool!![]()
