This is awesome.
I really hope the improved controls imply button controls.
They even knew about the bad controls but WB wouldn't delay the game anymore. I guess they knew they could get the sales and keep something for a sequel.
Awesome, scribblenauts is a fun game. Will definitely give it a try when it comes out.
I literally just read about this in ONM The game looks pretty awesome, what with the adjectives and all... And the best thing about it is: you can use multiple adjectives at the same time!
Yay! Something to live for!
Sweet. Despite its wonky controls and blatant exploits (IE: the basket trick), Scribblenauts was still a decent game with a lot of potential. If this one irons out a few of the flaws, it'll be well worth my time.
I thought only SNES games had "Super" in their titles xD
I Googled "Scriblenauts Basket Trick" and this post was the first entry. I lqtm'd so hard.
Does that mean the next one will be Scribblenauts 64?
PSP version will be called Mega Scribblenauts.
There won't be a PSP version.
And if there is, it probably will be on the PSP2.
We can only hope that this one will be better than part 1.
I didn't enjoy part 1 too much.
It will be on the PS4 (the second home console with a touch screen, after Nintendo of course) and be called "Doodle Explorers".
The first game was set to be awsome and only let down by controls.
By having buttons controls, fixing the view snap back and enabling crazy combinations through adjectives this is gonna be awsome!
super scribblenauts: now with worse controls and dumber ai
I'd much rather liked a sequel on the Wii.. with USB keyboard support and other Wii advantages ( graphics, AI, size of the areas, amount of enemies/objects etc etc )
The point of Scribblenauts is to have graphics that make the game look like it was drawn by you, just like Drawn to Life (which is what made the Wii version crap, too). So you wouldn't want a Wii sequel.
I enjoyed the original Scribblenauts a fair bit. I really do hope that whatever they're adding is worth the asking price, though. There had better be a lot of adjectives!
This was announced ages ago
