Both images are 128x128
are you that blind both these images are the Exact same resolution
The mario image however has transparency

Thank you for the clarification.

I just finished injecting this ROM and it worked fine. If the icon/banner are not appearing it may be an issue with the sound file so if that's your issue just try running the emulator and see if it works. Also, the injection tool asked me if I wanted to convert a PAL ROM to NTSC and I said 'yes'.

Saying yes worked for me but damn, it has graphical glitches and crackly music...

I would like to make a call out to any VC or emu developers, Unirally/Uniracers is a damn fine game, pls support it. And to you, fellow luker/gbatemper, play it on SNES/ZSNES, it won't dissapoint.

EDIT: Grammar

My bad re: publicdomainrom. I meant to include a different rom but then was curious if anyone would notice.

I think squee is right, but I found when I compared the transparency corrected version, I didn't like it as much. I also don't care for the titleplate. I really love the 3ds snes vc and wanted to get as many eyes on it as possible. I think the official vc is very lazy -- especially using a title screen resized to 48x48 icon.

You're fine. I should have realized there was copyrighted material in the package. BTW - your image didn't show up.

Copyrighted material in this case also includes the private keys included so please re-upload without them if you want to have a download.

So to be clear, you were AWARE that you were breaking the site's rules, and you intentionally didn't fix it?

To be clear, I didn't post a tutorial on gbatemp. I come here to share general information. I found RyanHoe on that iso site knew more about snes injection than anyone else so I stick around there and bother him for help. Rigidly adhering to rules is exhausting and seems to be detrimental to progress. So I don't get too involved here.

Is it possible to inject 64MegaBit roms? The recent translation patch for Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War is that size, but the options in snes inyector only go up to 48.

I don't know how to get the last requirement(found on that iso site ) i can't get it :( sr for my poor english. Pls help me

VIRUS DETECTED IN HackingToolkit.exe!!!

FYI. Windows Defender detected Virus "Trojan: Win32/Rundas!plock" in HackingToolkit.exe. This virus definition was first posted on May 6, 2016; so this program likely had a virus the whole but it wasn't known until recently.

HackingToolkit.exe is just a batch script packed.

Maybe, but if the computer used to compile it was infected with a virus that virus could have been injected into the binary; without the person compiling it even knowing. Kinda how trojans spread.

It's a false positive. If you're uncomfortable around that sort of thing, I'd avoid it altogether. You can just find someone more qualified to inject your roms.

New here in the injecting for 3DS.

My question to anyone that knows: Is there a way to scale the resolution to something like a Cropped 4:3? I found that a 4:3 cropped scaled image looks the best using Blarg Emu! Sadly that emu is quit crappy, no offense to the devs though.

The thing is, this scaled resolution (cropped 4:3) loooks very good and big, texts on games are clear enough and it is simply much better than regular fullscreen or 4:3 scaling (Snes9x 3DS or other emus). Sure you loose a bit of the top and bottom palette of the game, but in return you get no black horizontal bars and a much clearer image, while keeping a correct ratio (you even get scanlines).

SO... is there a way to change the scaled resolution when injecting SNES games??

I would be willing to do it as long as someone that "knows" tells me that is actually possible, so I don't waste a lot of my time in vain!

Cheers and thanks for listening guys! :yaynds:
