Hacking Super Mario Galaxy NTSC Black Screen

SO i have a legit copy of SMG, NTSC version.

I've copied the ISO to my computer, and now i want to burn a good copy of it, working with gamma.

I've tried 1:1, trucha signing, brickblocking, en/decrypted, and almost every combination of them all.

I've been burning at 3x on a TDK DVD+R

Running 3.2U Wii

I've tested other games, and they work.

Please help!

edit: I should note that my Wii does NOT have a modchip in it

Well this is what I did to get Galaxy to boot(however my game will randomly freeze for no reason).

1.Start the Launcher
2.Config Option:

Boot lang: English
Hook type: Wii pad

Have you tried a different loader like Softchip?

Yes, I have tried Softchip (r69, r73) and Menupatcher 1.0 with all versions i have.

edit: and now i've tried GeckOS 1.07

I have burned so many copies. I just want it to end.

Also I will tweak those settings in a little, thank you. TV in use.

Also: Unholy360, what did you burn as? Brickblocked? Patched? Trucha signed?

Just wondering, but why do you want to make another copy if you have the original? Is your original all scratched up or something?

+R work in your wii ? they dont work in mine ....did you maybe forget to change the book type on the +R

I use Gecko Region Free to load Super Mario Galaxy. Its the older version of gecko os. It available in the download section.

Does anyone have the issue where super mario galaxy won't work in wiiflow? I can get it to work in anything else but wiiflow... I'm not sure what to set differently as I tried to match my coverflow setup with the settings but still get the black screen in wiiflow. I'd love to use this beautiful interface, but it just doesn't seem as robust as coverflow, even though it appears to offer more options.

I just don't have a reference of each game and what the settings should be... all other games work fine, except mario galaxy. Weird...?

I get it to work on a Sony DVD-R
Burning on IMGburn on 2x speed. Neogamma 6 and 7 work fine. Haven't tested 8 with it.
No special settings. I just click launch game DVD. But first cutscene will have choppy audio. But other than that its all good
