Just recieved my Spider-Man US bundle, it’s 5.55.

Side note any reason of keeping it for hacking purposes?

It is either free games or online play when Hen for 5.5x come out, not sure if 5.56 will be supported.

It's getting harder to buy propper PS4 unit.. I was only interested in PRO so I can share my exp:
The easiest way to buy new (unused) is to buy bundle.
1) Newest consoles (7116) with desire fw are:
1) God Of War Limited Edition fw 4.73 (accept China and HK )
2) Monster Hunter World Limited Edition fw 4.73
3) Battlefront 2 Limited Edition fw 4.70

Older one (7015):
Destiny 2 Bundle fw 4.70

New fornite bundles are with fw 5.50 also stand alone consoles with Ronaldo on the back are 5.50

Personally I bought GOW Limited Edition... It was available and most afotrtable (paradoxically)... to be honest I don't like the look at all ;-)

I hear ya bro most of these limited editions are meh honestly I like my consoles to look original. Only reason I bought the Uncharted Ed was b/c it was pre jailbroken with a 4TB HDD even had 70 games installed.
Tho I gotta admit its super quiet compared to a ps4 pro, its like its not even on when playing it.

It sounds like Sony (and retailers) went through all the previous "production group" stock.
It's probably bad news for all future shipments of PS4 Pros to come with 5.50 and higher now, since all the "old stock" is sold out now.

CUH-7116B definitely come with 5.50
Just shocked the CUH-7115B ones came with it.

The Glacier White CUH - 7116B should still be 4.73, especially in a country like mine where the PS4 is not officially being sold so there is older stock.

Slim 1TB Jet Black Gran Turismo Sport Bundle (includes a physical copy of Gran Turismo Sport) - CUH-2116A - 4.73 - HACKABLE
Slim 500GB Jet Black Standard Bundle - I tried two of them and both were on a lower firmware than 5.05 - HACKABLE

Additional information:

I think that every Slim 500GB console that comes in a Standard Bundle is hackable, or at least every single one that has CUH-2116A model number - including Jet Black and Glacier White consoles.

But, I am a little bit worried about it's firmware.
Considering they are the official store and distributer here in Middle East, could they change the firmware of a PS4 even if the bundle is old?
Like opening the box, update the firmware and then reseal it?

No one will bother do such thing depends on information it supposed to be 2015a and come lower than 4.07 or even lower

Not a Bundle Model CUH-7116B B01Y - pictures on the back SWBFII-FIFA-COD-GT --> P-27452506-D / S01-xxxxxxx-B

System Software 4.73 - Location Athens - Europe - Greece.

I don't know yet the process you already know but i would appreciate some help via PM.

Now it's time to swap the HDD with a 2TB Seagate Firecuda 128MB Cache / 8GB SSD drive.

Doing a quick search it looks like the B01Y is safe, B02Y is questionable.

Can you return it?
