"Non-slim", by set theory, includes standard and pro version. According to different sources this could be taken as a rule of thumb for the standard model. There seem to be only few exceptions. In the case of pro, definitely no. Especially not the CUH-7116B models. Just to substatiate this: i did almost 50 requests in the last days on different markets. Every CUH-7116B had at least 4.73.

No pro 71xxx will be 4.55 or under the last of the 70xxx were above 4.55

Anyway, it's somehow contradictory: 71xxx <= 4.55 and 70xxx > 4.55, but by pure numbers 70 < 71 and AFAIK the 70 line has been produced before 71. That's weird

Pictures of the box will not help you to know what firmware. I got a new CUH-7015B on 4.55 It was MC9690xxxxx. Had also gotten one with MC9693xxxxx that was on 4.70. So just look for one with MC9690xxxxx and below and you will find one 4.55 or below

Have anyone bought a european playstation 4 slim 500gb silver limited edition bundled with two controllers? I think that it should be a fair chance that it comes with 4.50/4.55 since it was launched at the same time as the gold edition that people have confirmed as 4.50/4.55 but i have not seen anyone comment about the silver one yet.

According to Wikipedia a firmware with version 3.55 can be expected. But this bundle seems to be rather old. I would check if there has been any update installed. Personally speaking, without any information this would be too risky for me.

How about if it comes sealed directly from a store.... ?
