Hacking Stuck..

Hi everyone.

I have a load of old GC games (about 37) and decided to buy a Wii as they've come down in price a lot, and I wanted to be able to run all my games but have the option to start investing in some Wii games also.

So far I've tried for a couple of days to get this all to work.

Here is my set up:

- 32GB USB drive (32k clusters set to active).
- 2GB SD
- HBC (Latest)
- USB Loader GX (3.0 r1180)
- Pimp My Wii (3.02)
- MMM (13.4)
- DOPMii (14.5)
- WAD Manager (1.7)
- DIOS MIOS (2.10)


I've been having a couple of problems.

First off I ran Pimp My Wii test & fix.
It picked up a few things and sorted them out.

I went in to USB Loader GX and added/installed a game (Super Monkey Ball 2).
The game shows up.

I tried to load and it black screens.

I have tried to .iso over to DIOS MIOS and the same thing happens.
(I've tried both IOS236 & ISO249)

The menu picks up the game, but any time I try to run it in the many ways I have tried it black screens and freezes.


I've read a ton of forum posts and still seem none the wiser.

Is this something to do with requiring a cIOS or another issue?

I have also noticed that when going to fix through Pimp My Wii that it doesn't seem to be updating the MIOS.

I'm getting really confused by something that is probably easily fixed..


I also have some US and JAP games that I wish to back up. Once this is all working will I still be locked or will I be able to load them normally as I would on my Moded GC?

..After all of that, I suddenly got things running!

Basically went in to DOPMii and reinstalled the MIOS (10) and BC and it all seems to work now! Panic over..
